Downtown Cleanup EastSide Initiative

Over 60 volunteers joined our Downtown EastSide Cleanup Initiative, collecting waste, removing needles, and reaching out along Hastings Street. Together, we're transforming our city into a cleaner, more welcoming place.

November 3, 2025

New Westminster Community Meal Drive

Our "Feed People" campaign provided over 400 meals to individuals in need. Volunteers packed, and distributed meals throughout local downtown area — proving compassion starts with action.

December 1, 2025

Healing and Support Program

Our new "Mend People" initiative connects those battling addiction with recovery mentors and medical resources. This month, 15 individuals began their journey toward healing, supported by compassionate volunteers.

How are donations used?

92% of all donations go directly to program services. The remaining 8% covers essential operational costs like facility maintenance and administrative support. We publish detailed financial reports quarterly.

Do I need experience to volunteer?

No experience necessary! We provide training for all volunteers. Whether you're helping with cleanup, serving meals, or supporting recovery programs, we'll teach you everything you need to know.

How much time do I need to commit as a volunteer?

Flexibility is our priority. You can volunteer for a one-time event or commit to regular weekly shifts. Even a few hours a month makes a significant impact.

Can businesses or groups volunteer together?

Absolutely! We love corporate and group volunteering. Contact us to arrange a team-building experience that gives back to the community. We can accommodate groups of 10-100+ people.

Is City Pulse Society a registered nonprofit?

Yes, we are a registered Registered Charity nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible, and you'll receive a receipt for your records.
